About

The 4WD Adventurers Club of SA Inc was founded in June 1991 by former WEA 4WD Maintenance Course instructor Tom Hewitson and his students following the conclusion of the course. Tom voiced the need for a 4WD Club in the North Eastern suburbs.

He invited course graduates and other interested parties to a meeting in his workshop, where ideas were presented and discussed. The decision was made  to form a club.

The Club received it’s Certificate of Incorporation on 4th September 1991.

It is affiliated with the South Australian Association of Four Wheel Drive Clubs
